Administration Manager
Position available from end of November 2024

Reports to: Director

 Overall Responsibility: To manage the administrative affairs of Pisco Sin Fronteras and assist other members of the Administration team where necessary.

 Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Merchandise sales and orders
  • Checking emails daily, allocating them to the correct areas and ensuring they are responded to.
  • Assisting Finance Manager with weekly contributions collection
  • Taking minutes at management meetings and creating meeting agendas
  • Website updates and maintenance
  • Oversee and assist (if necessary) other members of the Administration team.
  • References for past volunteers
  • Distribution and management of keys
  • Filing, organization and ’backing up’ of all office work
  • Any other administration matters that arise.
  • Money handling in the Finance Managers absence
 

 Term of Employment:

A Minimum stay of 3 months. No salary but lodging, breakfast and dinner will be provided.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Spanish speaker preferable but not essential.
  • Able to take on responsibility and be part of a  management team.

Accounts Manager
Position available now

Reports to: Director

Overall Responsibility: To manage the financial affairs of Pisco Sin Fronteras and to produce financial information.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • To manage day to day incoming money and outgoing expenses. This involves giving money to volunteers, receiving receipts for outgoing expenditures, and receiving money from volunteer donations and contributions.
  • Initially, to input all incoming and outgoing transactions onto the accounts excel spreadsheets every week to the allocated fund, and to review totals for each fund every week.
  • Each month to submit all receipts to our Peruvian accountant for tax purposes.
  • To produce yearly and quarterly financial statements with relevant notes to assist management with decision making.
  • Also to liaise with our fiscal sponsor concerning online donations that they have received on our behalf. The job will require at least 2 days in the office each week depending on how you choose to manage your time, and you will need to be available for at least an hour each morning to hand out and receive money.
 
Term of Employment:

A Minimum stay of 3 months. No salary but lodging, breakfast and dinner will be provided.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in Financial Accounting prefferable but not essential.
  • Spanish speaker preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work within a management team and take on responsibility



Tools Manager
Position available from early December 2024

Reports to
: Operations Director

Overall Responsibility: Maintaining the tools and equipment of PSF.  Ensuring that projects have the tools they need and that volunteers are able to use them.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

·        Maintenance of existing tools, including the truck
·        Purchasing new equipment as needed
·        Coordinating technical support for projects
·        Coordinating volunteer tools training
·        Site Safety and safety training

Term of Employment:

A Minimum stay of 3 months. No salary but lodging, breakfast and dinner will be provided.

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • A basic knowledge of the tools and equipment we use is essential
  • The ideal candidate has experience in construction or a related profession as well as experience on site with PSF
  • The Tools Manager should aim to improve the quality and range of equipment available to the volunteers.  PSF will also expect solutions to practical problems as they arise.
